PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel active agents for counteracting the deficiencies in tissue renewal of the skin or of the hair, in particular for reducing thinning of the epidermis, improving the surface appearance of the skin, correcting wrinkles, slowing down and/or inhibiting hair loss, or slowing down and/or inhibiting whitening of the hair.;SOLUTION: The present invention relates to active agents comprising dedifferentiated plant cells of a plant of the Rosa sp, genus, or of an extract or a lyophilisate of the cells.
