To simply measure transfer characteristics of an optical receiver without introducing an additional device when measuring a transfer function.SOLUTION: The optical transceiver includes: an optical transmitter that generates an optical signal whose frequency is shifted by a known amount from local light in an optical receiver; an optical receiver that causes the local light to interfere with the optical signal to output an electric signal of a difference frequency; and a digital signal processing circuit that measures a frequency response of a transfer function on the basis of the electrical signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
