To provide a power generation apparatus that efficiently uses the kinetic energy of an air flowing through a ventilation duct, and a facility environment information sensing system using the apparatus.SOLUTION: An environment information sensing system 3 is provided in which a power generation apparatus 31 includes, at a certain point in the flow passage of ventilation ducts (a main air supply duct 11, a main air exhaust duct 21, a branch air supply duct 12, a branch air exhaust duct 22) or at the starting end or terminal end of the flow passage, a power generation device (piezo power generation device 311) that generates power upon receiving a stress.
