To provide a color difference adjusted image data generation method for causing a display device to display a color of a display object with high reproducibility.SOLUTION: A color difference adjusted image data generation method according to the present invention includes a step of generating a color signal conversion table CST, a step of generating adjusted image data AD, and a step of generating color difference adjusted image data CD. The color signal conversion table CST is used to convert color signals between a color difference adjusted image data generation device 10 and a display device 20. The adjusted image data AD is generated by adjusting an image ID of a display object T such that the color of the image of the display object displayed by the color difference adjusted image data generation device 10 matches the color of the display object T according to the image data ID.
