To provide an intercooler enabling an entire energy efficiency of an internal combustion engine having a thermoelectric generator to be improved.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an intercooler 9 for an internal combustion heat engine with a turbocharger comprising: a cooling chamber 19 provided with an air inflow opening 17 and an air outflow opening 18 facing each other; several exchanger plates 20 overlapped to each other in a vertical direction within the cooling chamber, arranged in parallel in respect to an air flow direction from the inflow opening to the outflow opening, spaced apart to each other to define corresponding air passages among themselves and having concave inner portions; a circulation circuit enabling cooling fluid to circulate within the exchanger plates; and several electrothermal cells where each of several electrothermal cells 24 is mounted on a corresponding exchanger plate and having a cold side positioned on the exchanger plate and a hot side partitioning the corresponding air passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
