To provide a membrane module for membrane distillation which allows water to be treated to flow through the whole hollow fiber membrane evenly, and to provide a membrane distillation device using the same.SOLUTION: A membrane module 10 for membrane distillation configured such that a bundle of hydrophobic porous hollow fiber membrane 11 is fastened and stored by fastening resins 13a, 13b on both ends in the longitudinal direction thereof in a cylindrical housing 12 has cylindrical perforated plates 125a, 125b embedded in the fastening resins 13a, 13b on a gap between the bundle of the hollow fiber membrane 11 in the neighborhood of water to be treated takeout port 123 and the housing 12 so as to surround all or a part of an outer circumference of the bundle of the hollow fifer membrane 11 and/or the membrane module 10 has a mesh-like net 126 which surrounds all of the outer circumference of the bundle of the hollow fiber membrane 11 between the fastening resin 13a of one end in the longitudinal direction of the bundle of the follow fiber membrane 11 and the fastening resin 13b of the other end, and on the gap between the bundle of the hollow fiber membrane 11 and the housing 12.
