To provide an ion exchange membrane for alkali chloride electrolysis that can produce an alkali chloride aqueous solution excellent in caustic quality, to provide a method for producing the ion exchange membrane and to provide an alkali chloride electrolysis device using the ion exchange membrane.SOLUTION: The ion exchange membrane for alkali chloride electrolysis is produced by laminating (C) a layer including a fluorine-containing polymer having a carboxylic acid type functional group and (S) a layer including a fluorine-containing polymer having a sulfonic acid type functional group. In the ion exchange membrane, at least one of the surface on the layer (S) side and the surface on the layer (C) side, which appear by the peeling upon peeling the layer (C) from the layer (S), has a surface roughness (Ra) of 1 to 15 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
