To provide an installation method for a weed-proof sheet having a structure in which a gap (H1) of an air reservoir is eliminated and a filler such as an adhesive is not injected, and to provide its structure, thus, at the time of backfill, a repairing material can be filled surely, and in addition, in rolling work, the inverted V-shaped weed-proof sheet is embedded in an inverted V-shaped cut groove for weed-proofing without gaps.SOLUTION: In an installation method for a weed-proof sheet, cut grooves for weed-proofing of a joint of a road, a concrete of a road, a block, etc., are formed in a single row in a traveling direction and in a double row in a direction orthogonal to the traveling direction; and cut grooves are in an inverted V-shape, and the weed-proof sheet in an inverted V-shape which is bent from a flat to form an inverted V-shape along the inverted V-shaped groove is covered or spread. At the time of backfill, a repairing material can be reliably filled. In a rolling work, the inverted V-shaped cut grooves for weed-proofing sheet can be embedded with the inverted V-shaped weed-proof sheet without gaps.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3-2
