PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively actuate a lubricating oil system of a marine diesel engine and realize consumption benefits.;SOLUTION: A lubricating oil system of a marine diesel internal combustion engine (10) having a lubricating oil storage (12) for holding lubricating oil, comprises; a lubricating oil pump (13) driven by the marine diesel internal combustion engine (10) to deliver the lubricating oil out of the lubricating oil storage (12); a lubricating oil valve (14) for limiting the lubricating oil pressure provided by the lubricating oil pump (13); and a control device (15) for operating the lubricating oil valve (14). The control device (15) determines, on the basis of a rotation speed of the marine diesel internal combustion engine (10), a set lubrication oil pressure as a function of the rotation speed of the marine diesel internal combustion engine (10) and, on the basis of the set lubrication oil pressure, operates the lubricating oil valve (14) to provide the set lubrication oil pressure.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
