To provide a storage type electric water heater operation system capable of reducing a burden of a power transmission/distribution system caused by an excessive power generation amount.SOLUTION: Many solar panels 4 are disposed inside of a photovoltaic power generation area 6, and many storage type water heaters are installed inside of a control area 5 which is set in the vicinity of the photovoltaic power generation area 6. An electrification control information transmission device 1 is installed inside of the control area, and an electrification control device 3 is installed in each of storage type electric water heaters 2. In a case where an excessive power generation amount of photovoltaic power generation is equal to or more than a reference power generation amount, the electrification control information transmission device 1 transmits daytime electrification start information to each of the storage type electric water heaters 2 on a control block basis in such a manner that the excessive power generation amount can be consumed by electrifying each of the storage type electric water heater 2 in a daytime zone. The electrification control device 3 is configured to start electrification to each of the storage type electric water heaters 2 at a daytime electrification start time and to block nighttime electrification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
