To provide a system for patterned intensity modulation of neural tissue.SOLUTION: The invention provides a method of treating medical conditions by providing an electrode and modulating stimulation parameters delivered by the electrode. The stimulation parameters that are modulated relate to stimulation intensity and are varied according to a stimulation input parameter or time.
