PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and stably gelatinize, or solidify a sample for microscopic observation, and liquefy it.;SOLUTION: A manufacturing substrate 1 of a sample for microscopic observation includes: a substrate body 3 including an injection unit 7 and a hanging drop forming unit 9; and a flowable member 11. The injection unit includes a flow channel 5 for making a medium solution A flow, and has an opening at one end of the flow channel used for injecting the medium solution A. The hanging drop forming unit opens at the other end of the flow channel 5, and supports the droplet A' of the medium solution A injected from the injection unit 7 in the state in which the surface of the droplet is partially exposed and hoisted.
