PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-proof performance examination method for a radiation image imaging apparatus which can examine water-proof performance of the radiation image imaging apparatus with good accuracy and can carry out examination easily in a relatively short time.;SOLUTION: A water-proof performance examination method for a radiation image imaging apparatus 1 which comprises a sensor panel SP having a plurality of radiation detecting elements 7, a casing 2 for storing the sensor panel SP, and atmospheric pressure measuring means 50 for measuring atmospheric pressure inside the casing 2 and is provided with a venthole H for allowing communication of air of the inside and outside of the casing 2 on the casing 2 includes: a load application process for continuously applying a predetermined load on the casing 2; an atmospheric pressure measurement process for measuring variation with time of the atmospheric pressure P inside the casing 2 during a period while the load is continuously applied to the casing 2 by the atmospheric measuring means 50; and a water-proof performance determining process for determining degree of deterioration of the water-proof performance of the radiation image imaging apparatus 1 on the basis of a way of the variation in the measured atmospheric pressure P inside the casing 2.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
