To reinforce an object to be reinforced without carrying it out from a wind turbine generation facility.SOLUTION: A method for modifying a wind turbin generation facility comprises: a carry-in step of carrying in a reinforcing member smaller in size than an opening part through the opening part communicating between the inside of a hub and the outside on the front side of the wind power generation facility, the opening part smaller in size than an object to be reinforced inside the wind power generation facility; and a reinforcing step of machining the object to be reinforced inside the hub and reinforcing the object to be reinforced using the carried-in reinforcing member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
