To provide an analyte information acquisition device performing photoacoustic measurement, capable of preventing unintended laser radiation.SOLUTION: An analyte information acquisition device comprises: photoacoustic measurement means for acquiring characteristic information of the analyte based on an acoustic wave generated on the analyte by radiation of a light to the analyte; operation acquisition means for acquiring information indicating an operation performed by an operator through input means; and control means for, when the operation acquisition means receives plural operations for instructing start of photoacoustic measurement based on information indicating the operation, allowing measurement by the photoacoustic measurement means, and when the plural operations are not received, not performing measurement by the photoacoustic measurement means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
