To improve degree of freedom in design while a reduction in a partition wall or a strength degradation can be prohibited at an injection molding for a protection cover having a thin-walled partition wall at a disc part.SOLUTION: A protection cover 1 comprises a synthetic resin disc part 2 formed with a more thin-walled partition wall 5 than that of other portions to make a partition between a magnetic encoder and a magnetic sensor; and a synthetic resin sensor holder part 4 protruding from the disc part 2 inwardly, and an outer peripheral surface 2A at the disc part 2, or an outer peripheral surface 3A of a cylindrical part 3 connected to the disc part 2, which is molded through injection molding of synthetic resin and positioned outside in a radial direction of the partition wall 5, shows a gate mark caused by said injection molding. Since there is provided a gate that is near to the partition wall 5 and outside in a radial direction of the partition wall 5, no filling terminal weld is produced at the partition wall 5 when molten material of synthetic resin is poured from said gate into a cavity of an injection molding die at the injection molding stage and solidified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
