PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tablets of a carbon dioxide gas bathing agent for bathing, foot bathing and shower bathing, capable of eliminating chlorine included in tap water; and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A method for producing a tablet includes: mixing a mixture A with a mixture B containing organic acid at 1/100 to 2/3 wt% with respect to bicarbonate; and subsequently performing compression molding, where the mixture A is a mixture in which bicarbonate is mixed or granulated in the presence of polyethyleneglycol; the mixture B is a mixture in which a raw material containing organic acid, polyethyleneglycol, and one or more selected from particular excipients are mixed or granulated; and one or more selected from particular chlorine neutralization compounds is/are incorporated into either or both of the mixture A and the mixture B at 8 wt% with respect to organic acid. The tablet for bathing comprises a chlorine neutralizer selected from L-ascorbic acid, an L-ascorbic acid salt, an L-ascorbic acid derivative, thiosulfate, sulfite, erythorbic acid, and erythorbic acid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
