To provide a blowing nozzle of a hair dryer and the hair dryer, the blowing nozzle having a shape of a diffusion mode being further suitable for hair styling.SOLUTION: A hair dryer 1 comprises a blowing nozzle 30. The blowing nozzle 30 comprises: a nozzle body part 32; and an air duct block member 31 arranged in the nozzle body part 30. The nozzle body part 32 and the air duct block member 31 can relatively move in a cross direction of the blowing nozzle 30. The nozzle body part 32 has protrusion parts 51a, 51b for extending an inner diameter of a draft air duct to a horizontal direction (X direction) of the blowing nozzle 30. The blowing nozzle 30 can be switched between a diffusion mode in which, the draft air duct to the protrusion parts 51a, 51b is opened, and a convergence mode in which the draft air duct to the protrusion parts 51a, 51b is blocked, by relative movement of the nozzle body part 32 and the air duct block member 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
