To provide a method of embedding a dental implant that can reduce a rotary torque which is required when screwing an embedded part into an implant cavity in an alveolar bone by self-tapping to less than 40 Ncm.SOLUTION: According to a method of embedding a fixture 11 of an implant 10, after applying a lubricant 30 such as olive oil containing oleic acid to a tapping screw 12 of the fixture 11, the fixture 11 is screwed by self-tapping into an implant cavity in an alveolar bone. This results in the lubricant 30 being present between an inner peripheral wall of the implant cavity and a screw thread 12a or a screw groove 12b of a tapping screw 12 of the fixture 11, so a friction resistance which may occur between them can be reduced by such a lubricant 30. Therefore, compared with a case where no lubricant 30 is applied to the fixture 11, an embedding torque for the fixture 11 can be reduced to less than 40 Ncm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
