To require the development of a decontamination technique allowing easy application on a contaminated surface though the generation rate of secondary waste water is remarkably small.SOLUTION: The radioactive nuclide removal composition comprises a first polymer including a hydroxy group, a second polymer having a boronic acid group introduced as a functional group and a radioactive nuclide removal adsorbent. When the radioactive nuclide removal composition is applied on a surface contaminated by a radioactive nuclide, the first and second polymers are reversibly crosslinked and bonded to each other to form hydro-gel. After the radioactive nuclide existing on the contaminated surface is dissolved, the hydro-gel can move and enclose the radioactive nuclide in the inside of the hydro-gel to remove various radioactive nuclides and can easily take off the radioactive nuclide from the contaminated surface by excellent point elastic characteristics.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
