PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve recognition accuracy of a travel lane.;SOLUTION: A travel lane recognition device includes: an acquisition unit for acquiring information on the number of travel lanes of a road on which a vehicle travels; a detection unit for detecting travel lane boundary line information from a photographic image shot by an imaging apparatus mounted on the vehicle; and a selection unit for selecting the travel lane boundary line information used for recognition of the travel lane from the detected travel lane boundary line information. The selection unit selects the travel lane boundary line information used for recognition of the travel lane based on comparison results of the number of travel line boundary lines shown by the detected travel lane boundary line information with the number of travel line boundary lines identified in accordance with information on the number of acquired travel lines.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
