PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems that: in evaluation of dielectric constant using a reflection transmission method, high-precision measurement cannot be performed due to effects of reflection of electromagnetic waves across a jig for sealing-in of a sample; and in time domain analysis by a gating method for removal of unnecessary reflected components of signals in a microwave band (about 10 GHz), ripples appear in an analysis diagram of a lower frequency band at reverse transformation that should not appear in the original dielectric constant analysis diagram because of errors derived from the gating.SOLUTION: There is provided a correction method for time domain analysis by a gating method for removing unnecessary reflected components of signals, in which ripples are removed by extending the waveform in such a manner that the continuity of the time domain waveform is maintained and then inversely transforming the waveform into the frequency domain.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
