To provide a musical performance apparatus capable of extracting musical elements from an acoustic signal of a desired musical piece and reproducing a musical performance pattern on the basis of the extracted musical elements.SOLUTION: A musical performance apparatus 10 includes a plurality of operators. The musical performance apparatus 10 extracts a plurality of acoustic waveforms of predetermined music elements from an acoustic signal according to an algorithm for extracting the acoustic waveforms of the predetermined musical elements included in the acoustic signal. The musical performance apparatus 10 assigns the extracted acoustic waveforms to each of the plurality of operators. The musical performance apparatus 10 selects one operator, which is under operation, out of the plurality of operators and generates musical performance pattern data representing the musical performance pattern by using the acoustic waveform assigned to the selected operator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
