PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide filaments 10, 10A for an LED bulb light source, facilitating assembly work of the filaments 10, 10A, capable of eliminating connection error or poor connection between the filaments 10, 10A and a lead wire 25, and preventing a shadow of the lead wire when lighting an LED bulb 20, and to provide a filament type LED bulb 20.;SOLUTION: Both electrode pins 16, 17 of the positive electrode pin 16 and the negative electrode pin 17 are provided on the same end part of a transparent substrate 11 so as to make a filament 10 support itself by the two electrode pins 16, 17 projecting like legs from the same end part. Like a conventional filament type LED bulb 20, a column for suspending the filament 10 or a wire-shaped lead wire for connecting the filament 10 and the column can be omitted so as to facilitate assembly work of the filament 10.
