To provide a ticket gate system, an exit-station ticket gate device, a fare adjustment device and a station-service device capable of reducing the time taken for a user to enter a station ticket gate.SOLUTION: A ticket gate system according to the embodiment includes a settlement device and an exit-station ticket gate device. The settlement device includes a settlement reading unit, a settlement control unit and a settlement communication unit. The settlement reading unit reads pass information from a pass. The settlement control unit settles fare from an entrance station to an exit station based on the pass information read by the settlement reading unit. The settlement communication unit transmits information for identifying the settled pass. The exit-station ticket gate device includes an exit communication unit, exit reading unit and exit control unit. The exit communication unit receives information for identifying the settled pass. The exit reading unit reads the pass information from the pass. The exit control unit determines whether or not the pass is permitted based on the information for identifying the settled pass received by the exit communication unit and the pass information read by the exit reading unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
