To provide a mounting line management system and a management method for mounting line such that only proper information of a result of inspection on a substrate by an inspection device is fed back to a mounting device.SOLUTION: A first mounting device M1 imparts order information to a substrate KB having been carried in and reads identification information on the substrate KB, and associates and stores them in a host computer storage part 31. An inspection device M3 receives the order information and reads the identification information out of the substrate KB as the substrate KB is carried in, and associates and stores those order information and identification information in an inspection storage part 21. When an inspection result indicates a defect, the order information on the defective substrate KB stored in an inspection storage part 21 is subjected to predetermined processing. When correspondence information stored in the inspection storage part 21 does not match correspondence information stored in the host computer storage part 31, an inspection result is inhibited from being fed back.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
