To provide a vessel, a power generation control device, and a method for power generation control for vessel capable of securing power generation amount without being influenced by weather conditions reducing environmental load due to emission gas, etc.SOLUTION: A vessel 1 is provided with: a solar battery panel 31; a power conditioner 33 for converting DC power generated by a solar battery panel 31 to AC power and supplying to an electric load; and a power storage device 34 for storing one portion of the power generated by the solar battery panel 31. Thus, idling operation of a vessel 1 is prevented since power is capable of being supplied to the electric load of the vessel 1 even when an engine 35 for propulsion is stopped and environmental load is capable of being reduced. Furthermore, the power storage device 34 is capable of functioning as a fixation ballast by being installed at a bottom 24 of the vessel 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
