PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine name output device, a medicine name output method and a medicine name output program for outputting appropriate medicine name when retrieving a medicine name according to a character string of a medicine name containing noise.SOLUTION: The medicine name output device comprises: a retrieval unit 11 for retrieving a medicine name while referring to a data storage unit in which medicine names are stored by using a character string of a retrieval object; an evaluation unit 12 for obtaining frequency of appearance determined based on the number of portions that any of partial character strings generated by dividing a character string of one medicine name out of a plurality of medicine names being the retrieval result matches a retrieval object character string, and subjecting each of the plurality of medicine names being the retrieval result to calculation of the reliability based on the frequency of appearance in order to calculate the reliability for each medicine name; and an output unit 16 for outputting medicine names in order of higher reliability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
