To provide a method for performing one or more remote medical examinations of a patient using a workstation operably connectable to a remote diagnostic device.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for remote medical examinations, the method comprising: receiving navigation enabling data acquired by a navigation sensor of a device, the navigation enabling data being indicative of a spatial disposition of a patient's body; displaying the received navigation enabling data; receiving an indication of a desired spatial disposition of the device with respect to the patient's body, from which medical data of the patient is to be acquired in accordance with at least one medical examination, the indication being defined by a trained person operating the workstation; and sending the received indication to the device, thus enabling navigation thereof to the desired spatial disposition with respect to the patient's body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
