To provide a recording medium recording software for classifying data to search for data such as character strings and the like used by a computer at a high speed.SOLUTION: A recording medium recording code-code classification and search software is software which determines several hash values using a hash function on the basis of a classification target character strings, classifies the classification target character strings using the determined several hash values, and records the classified strings in a database. The software searches for a classification to which the character string which a user wants to search for belongs from the database recording the classified classification target character strings, and searches for the data which the user wants to search for from the data recorded in the classification to which the character string which the user wants to search for belongs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
