Method of extracting mass information from low-resolution mass-to-charge ratio spectra of multivalent species

An apparatus and method for extracting mass information from a low resolution mass to charge ratio spectrum of a multivalent species is disclosed. Curve fitting is performed using the logarithm of mass charge data that excludes noise-induced disturbances.
