To provide an electrolyzed water generation device which performs notification to advise that replacement of a water purification cartridge be made and so on according to a use situation and at a right time, enabling prevented deterioration of the water purification cartridge prior to beginning of use of the cartridge.SOLUTION: An electrolyzed water generation device 1 comprises: a device body 2 which has an electrolytic cell 4 for electrolyzing water; and a water purification cartridge 5 which purifies the water. The water purification cartridge 5 is replaced via attachment and detachment to and from the device body 2. The device body 2 comprises: a flow sensor 62 which detects an amount of passing water which passes through the water purification cartridge 5 per unit time; control means 7 which predicts a time and date when the water purification cartridge 5 reaches the end of its life on the basis of the memorized amount of the passing water; and transmission means 8 which transmits a life end signal indicating that the end of the life is approaching before the time and date when the end of the life is reached.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
