An elevator hoisting machine structure is provided which has a small overall volume, is easy to mount, has high transmission efficiency, and is highly safe. An elevator hoisting machine structure includes a main body. A motor chamber and a deceleration chamber are formed in the main body. The motor chamber communicates with the deceleration chamber. A motor unit 2 is attached in the motor chamber. A deceleration unit is mounted in the deceleration chamber. The motor unit includes a stator 21 and a rotor 22. An assembly part is formed in the motor chamber, and the stator is attached to the peripheral wall of the assembly part. The rotor is arranged around the stator so as to correspond to the stator. A rotating disk base is further provided, and a brake ring 25 is formed on the peripheral wall of the rotating disk base. A rotor 22 is attached to the inner wall of the brake ring.
