To provide a mobile object recognition device capable of appropriately detecting a movement of a mobile object.SOLUTION: A mobile object recognition device (1) includes: an input section (11) for receiving an input of an image captured by a camera (30) mounted on a vehicle; a mobile object detection section (20) for detecting a mobile object included in an image and determining the kind of the mobile object; a joint recognition processing section (21) for recognizing joints of a human body included in a mobile object; a movement state calculation processing section (22) for obtaining a movement state of a mobile object on the basis of a movement of a skeleton for each kind of a mobile object; and an output section (13) for outputting information of a movement state calculated by the movement state calculation processing section (22).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
