METHOD FOR BUILDING CONSENSUS IN NETWORK AND NODES CONSTITUTING NETWORK

To provide a method suitable for building consensus in a network which has a plurality of nodes, including f assumed Byzantine fault nodes, participating in consensus building.SOLUTION: First, each node is in a standby state (S301). Then, a proponent 130 in a corresponding round: is selected by a deterministic calculation; transmits a proposal message including data subjected to consensus building to each node; and is turned into a proposed status when the transmitted message is received by other nodes (S302). Next, each node which receives the proposal message: determines effectiveness thereof; transmits a vote message when determining that the proposal message is effective; and also transmits a message indicating acceptance of the proposal message when the number of received vote messages reaches a predetermined value Q (S303-1). Last, each node finishes a consensus building process with transmission of the message indicating an intention to deal with the proposal as an agreed one when the number of received vote messages reaches the predetermined value Q (S304).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
