To provide a simulated sample for a heating treatment that can be desirably used as a replacement of a target object of the heating treatment, and a method for evaluating a heating treatment for evaluating the influence of the heating treatment on a treatment target object by using a simulated sample.SOLUTION: There is provided a simulated sample for evaluating a heating treatment that has a flexible porous water-absorptive material and a container that can contain the flexible porous water-absorptive material when the material is absorbing water. There is also provided a method for estimating a heating treatment using a simulated sample, the method including the steps of: creating a simulated sample by causing a flexible porous water-absorbing material to absorb water and containing the material in a container; and performing a heating treatment on the simulated sample while measuring the inner temperature of the simulated sample.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
