To enable covering the opening of an optical connector with an optical fiber on the light source side without any gap therebetween to avoid the phenomenon in which the light-shielding member is hit by the ferrule of the optical fiber on the light source side at the time of opening and closing.SOLUTION: A shutter having a size in which the aperture can be covered without any gap is realized by providing a first bent section in which a part of the shutter is bent backward and a second bent section in which another part of the shutter is bent in the opposite direction to the first bent section, by providing a shutter having a size that allows the opening to be covered without any gap, the shutter is made slidable in the fitting direction of the optical connector, and by providing an optical connector capable of arranging the shutter at a position where the shutter is not hit by the tip of the ferrule when opening and closing by providing the shutter at the opening of the slide member biased in the tip direction by a pressing spring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
