To provide a container 10 for an aqua dome in which alignment and fixation of a decorative object are relatively easy, a light source is not conspicuous, and it is easily assembled, and provide an aqua dome.SOLUTION: A container 10 for an aqua dome comprises a base 11 with a light source K installed in the lower surface of a top plate, a cup-shaped transparent dome 12 liquid-tightly fitted to the base, and a transparent support plate 14 arranged to the base 11 and having a decorative object installed on an upper surface. At least a portion corresponding to a light source 13 of the top plate of the base 11 has optical transparency. The aqua dome comprises a decorative object fixed to the support plate 14 of this container 10 using the ultraviolet curing type resin and the liquid encapsulated in the dome 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
