PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eye-washing tool which reduces awful feeling and sense of caution of a user during eye-washing without impairing eye-washing effect and an eye-washing method which is done in an easy posture with comfort by using the same.SOLUTION: The eye-washing tool has a bottom wall and a peripheral wall formed upward surrounding the outer peripheral end of the bottom wall. The upper end edge of the peripheral wall forms a toric opening fitting around the eye. When the opening abuts to the periphery of the eye, the eye-washing tool abuts at an angle of 20-60° inclination on the face and has a through-hole or a notch enabling a solution jet nozzle of the container storing an eye washing solution to be inserted detachably on a virtual vertical line which is positioned in front of the eye and extends vertically on the inner surface of the peripheral wall.
