Identification of Realization State of Logical Entity Based on Global Realization Number

Some embodiments provide a method for determining the realization state of one or more logical entities of a logical network. The method increments the realization value each time a specific event occurs, exposes the incremented value to the set of controllers in the logical network, and receives data identifying the state of the logical entity in the logical network. The method exposes the logical entity state data to a set of controllers. In some embodiments, the method queries the set of controllers for the state of implementation of state data for the set of logical entities exposed to the set of controllers until a certain point in time. The transmitted query includes, in some embodiments, a specific value of the realization number associated with a specific time.
