To provide a coating liquid for the formation of a luminescent film that is used for forming a luminescent film having fluorescent color developability, is excellent in dispersion stability and coating uniformity and can form a luminescent film having high luminance, to provide a preparation method of the coating liquid and to provide a method for producing a luminescent film.SOLUTION: The coating liquid for the formation of a luminescent film includes: vanadium oxide particles; an organic acid vanadium sa an organic acid metal salt other than the organic acid vanadium sa at least either one kind of dispersant of a basic dispersant and an acidic dispersant; and an organic solvent. The vanadium oxide particles are dispersed in the coating liquid in a state of particles having an average particle size of 10 μm or less and the content of the vanadium oxide particles is 30 mass% or more. The preparation method of the coating liquid and the method for producing a luminescent film are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: None
