To provide medicines capable of preventing or treating peripheral arterial diseases.SOLUTION: Disclosed herein is a pharmacological composition for preventing or treating peripheral arterial diseases comprising as an effective component: (a) a hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) or an isoform thereof, and a stromal cell derived factor 1α (SDF-1α); or (b) a polynucleotide encoding the HGF and a polynucleotide encoding the SDF-1α.EFFECT: Concomitant use of polynucleotides encoding HGF and SDF-1α has a remarkable therapeutic effect on peripheral arterial diseases as compared to single use of HGF or SDF-1α or respective polynucleotides encoding them.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
