To provide: peptides which has excellent effects of preventing and treating various bone diseases caused by bone destruction by inhibiting osteoclast differentiation and activity; and uses thereof.SOLUTION: The invention provides: peptides which are formed from specific amino acid sequences and have osteoclast differentiation and activation inhibition capability; and compositions comprising the peptides for preventing or treating various bone diseases. The peptides reduce expression of TRAP (tartrateresistant alkaline phosphatase) related to osteoclast differentiation, reduce expression of cathepsin K, inhibit nuclear translocation of NF-κB, and ultimately inhibit osteoclast differentiation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2b
