To provide a string instrument excitation apparatus and a string instrument excitation system that can sound string instrument with high sound quality.SOLUTION: A string instrument excitation apparatus 100 includes a pair of engagement plates 111 and 112 engaged with an upper edge portion 20a of a piece 20 set on a front plate 2 of a violin 1, an elastic member 120 which is provided at the joint portions 111c and 112c between the upper end portions 111a and 112a of the pair of engagement plates 111 and 112 and which applies stress to sandwich the upper edge portion 20a of the piece 20, and an attachment plate 131 projecting from the upper end portions 111a and 112a of the pair of engagement plates 111 and 112 and transmitting vibration of a vibration portion of a speaker 200 to an attachment rod 130.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
