To provide an assisting device for sash that can open and close a sash of a double sliding door.SOLUTION: An operation part 11 can be displaced between a storage position where at least part of the operation part is stored in a sash and a protruding position where at least part of the operation part protrudes from the sash further than the storage position. This allows a user to open and close the sash constituting a double sliding door if the operation part 11 is in the storage position when the sash is opened and closed. The displacement operation of the operation part 11 is changed by a first pressing mechanism 15 and a second pressing mechanism 17 to be transmitted to a pressing member 17A. Therefore, the pressing member 17A protrudes when the operation part 11 is pressed, so that assisting force for opening the sash is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
