PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber sensor having a configuration capable of expanding applications.;SOLUTION: An optical fiber sensor 100 includes: an optical transmission portion 13 including a core 11 and a clad 12; and a hetero core portion 16 including a core 14 and a clad 15 connected to the core 11 and clad 12 of the optical transmission portion 13, respectively. The hetero core portion 16 includes: an optical fiber 10 including a core 14 with a diameter different from that of the core 11 of the optical transmission portion 13; a metal film 30 provided on a tip surface 10a of the optical fiber 10; and a ferrule 20 extending from the tip toward a rear end side and partially covering the outer periphery of the tip portion of the optical fiber 10.
