To provide a liquefied gas storage tank structure, a ship, and a boil-off gas reduction method, allowing for suppression of heat transfer causing vaporization heat, by cooling a high-temperature liquefied gas layer at a surface lower side of a liquefied gas of a tank for storing the liquefied gas of a liquefied gas carrier, and allowing for reduction of boil-off gas generation without increasing a thickness of a heat-insulating material of the storage tank.SOLUTION: A part or the whole of a cooling system 20 for cooling a high temperature liquefied gas layer Lb at a surface lower side of a stored liquefied gas L, is provided inside a storage tank 11, and at least a part of a cooling device 21 cooling a high temperature liquefied gas layer Lb is disposed at a liquid level S or near the liquid level of the liquefied gas L, at least when the storage tank 11 is fully filled with the liquefied gas L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
