To improve estimation accuracy of a solar radiation intensity.SOLUTION: A solar radiation intensity estimation device includes an estimation model generation section, an estimation model interpolation section, and a solar radiation intensity estimation section. The estimation model generation section generates estimation models of solar radiation intensities at multiple observation points on the basis of observed cloud state data and solar radiation intensities observed at multiple observation points. The estimation model interpolation section generates an estimation model of a solar radiation intensity at an object point on the basis of estimation models of solar radiation intensities at multiple observation points. The solar radiation intensity estimation section estimates a solar radiation intensity at the object point on the basis of a reflection intensity at the object point obtained from cloud state data and an estimation model of a solar radiation intensity at the object point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
