PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter controller for accurately controlling current and a sensorless drive system.;SOLUTION: An inverter controller comprises an estimation value calculation section 40 for calculating a rotational phase angle estimation value of a synchronous machine M on the basis of current values detected by current detection sections SU and SW and an output voltage target vector in initial estimation.
