To provide a touch sensing unit which enables increased yield such that the manufacturing costs can be reduced, and also to provide a display device including the same.SOLUTION: The sensing unit includes: a plurality of first electrodes TE1a, TE1b disposed over a substrate; a plurality of second electrodes TE2a, TE2b disposed over the substrate; a plurality of first connection parts 222a disposed respectively between two adjacent first electrodes of the plurality of first electrodes to connect the plurality of first electrodes in a first direction; and a plurality of second connection parts 222b mounted on a layer different from the layer of the first connection parts, and disposed respectively between two adjacent second electrodes of the plurality of second electrodes to connect the plurality of second electrodes in a second direction different from the first direction. At least one of the plurality of first connection parts includes first wiring and second wiring, which second wiring is spaced by a predetermined distance, and at least one of the first wiring and the second wiring connects the plurality of electrodes in the first direction.
